the only thing I want…THE ONLY THING! is for Gregson and Lestrade to appear in an episode together, be snarky at each other and secretly fight for Sherlock´s favour. Damnit, that would be awesome.

Can I take a second’s pause here to point out how good a listener I think Greg is? Look at how intent he is. He’s waiting for Sherlock to finish his call, yeah, and he could look like that’s all he’s doing, but he’s really interested in hearing what Mrs. Hudson has to say. I love Greg.
Of course he’s interested - his entire wardrobe is black, white and grey. This convesation encourages him to be a bit braver and try a tartan scarf ;)
Also, fun fact, Lestrade has no idea what a color even fucking is. So there’s that.
Ahhh - so that’s why Sherlock has to scream “PINK!” at him…

I’m watching A Study In Pink and I just noticed that at about 15 minutes and 28 seconds into it, we see Lestrade run up the stairs of 221B to tell Sherlock that there’s been a fourth murder. Here’s the thing, Sherlock, John and Mrs Hudson are all upstairs talking at this point and the front door is shut.
Conclusion? Sherlock gave Lestrade a key.
It’s my headcanon that Sherlock also has a key to Greg’s, except he’s forbidden to use it unless in emergency. So when Sherlock wants milk or a case or some love he just breaks in through the window or something.
I’d like to see Sherlock steal love! He might be able to pickpocket Lestrade’s police ID but love is another thing!!
